SAVE A SPECIES 1. Survey and Assessment (a) Research and make a note of any endangered or vulnerable species in your region. (b) List localities [natural habitats] where these species are/were found (c) List factors affecting the habitat, and other environmental parameters required by the species. (d) Find out what factors have been compromised with, and the cause of the same. [IF there are no endangered species in your country, or saving them is deemed improbable, then: i) Select any endangered species in the world, specifically one in your neighbouring countries, or a common one people can relate to. e.g. Polar Bears ii) Create social campaigns related to it.] (e) Visit a National Park, and ask how you might be able to help them. (f) Visit a school, college or other such local institutions, and educate its members of the species and why it is at risk of extinction. 2. Planning (a) Plan out how you can attempt to restore the compromised factors to an acceptable state (b) Collaborations: Seek aid from any expert, institution, activist group who may be able to aid you in this endeavour.
