Kennet Santana Hillsdale High School 3115 Del Monte Street San Mateo, CA 94403 Dear Kennet, On behalf of the people of the City of Battle Creek, I would like to commend you for your quick response and actions on Monday morning in preventing an event that would have been very tragic for the members of your school. Your bravery and humbleness also goes a long way to demonstrate to the students and fellow faculty members that you can make a difference in our communities today. Receiving good news is something that we do not receive enough of today and it was very refreshing to receive this information yesterday and to hear it on the news last evening in Battle Creek. I am certain that everyone will be working to overcome the incident that took place and putting new processes in place to prevent anything like this from taking place again at your school or any other school in our Nation. Once again, I am inspired by your humbleness and your ability to be a role model to the students and other students across America today. Keep up the good work, and I am certain that you will continue to build the special relationships that are necessary to transform the lives of students to become adults in today's world. Sincerely,
