Activity
a) warm up T introduces theme and vocabulary of time: T: “What is this?” points at clock Ss: “Clock” T: “What time is it?” Ss: “9:00” T: “What’s this?” holds up picture of wolf Ss: “Dog” “Wolf” etc. b) main activity T explains game: T: “I’m going to be Mr. Wolf. You have to make a big circle around me. You ask, ‘What time is it Mr. Wolf?’ I say, “It’s 5 o’clock!” And you take five step toward me and count them ‘1…2…3…4…5!’ You keep asking that until suddenly I will answer ‘Lunchtime!’ And then I will chase you. If I catch you, YOU become Mr. Wolf.” Class plays game until interests wanes c) wrap up T reviews time and numbers T: “What time is lunchtime/dinner time/bed time, etc?” Ss various answers: “12 o’clock/6:30/9 o’clock
