(0) Rate I am trying to setup a 224XP as a Modbus Slave using the Libraries. I want to test and have downloaded a PC application to test Modbus but I don't know the necessary cable pinouts. Can anyone please let me know the cables I need. Thanks

(0) Rate Thanks but I'm not at all familiar Modbus setup. Is this a regular cable, or do I need a 485 converter or anything like that. What would the PC DB9 side be? I can't believe that I couldn't find any of this in 2 hours of searching last night.

You should use the same PC/PPI (serial) you are using to program the PLC. There is no 'special cable' for Modbus, there is only a serial cable used to connect the two devices - PC and PLC, in this case with a RS232-RS485 converter (included in the PC/PPI cable).
