1. (a) List out ideal characteristics of op-amp. Draw equivalent circuit of op-amp. (b) Explain external frequency compensation techniques. 2. (a) What is hysteresis?. Obtain expression for hysteresis voltage of Schmitt trigger. (b) Explain features of 723 voltage regulator. 3. (a) Derive generalized expression for voltage gain of second order filter and from it, obtain transfer function of high pass filter. (b) Design RC phase shift oscillator to oscillate of 100 HZ. Assume C=0.1µF. 4. (a) Explain operation of 555 time, in a stable mode and derive expression for o/p frequency. (b) Explain how PLL can be used for AM and FSK demodulation. 5.
