CORDED RIB PATTERN Round 1: *K2, P2, rep from * Round 2: *Ssk, YO, P2, rep from * Round 3: *K2, P2, rep from * Round 4: *YO, K2tog, P2, rep from * Repeat rounds 1-4 With your DPNs, CO 32 (40, 48) sts Cuff: Without twisting, join and work in K2, P2 rib st for 1-inch. Leg: Begin Corded Rib Pattern around for 2 ½ inches. End by completing round 4. Heel Flap: Work back and forth on 16 (20, 24) sts, ending with RS Row 1 (RS): *Sl st., K, rep from * Row 2 (WS): Sl st, P to end Repeat rows 1 and 2 until you have 15 (19, 23) total rows of heel flap. Heel Turn: Row 1 (WS): Sl 1, P8 (10, 12), P2tog, P1, turn. Row 2: Sl 1, K3, Ssk, K1, turn. (Note the slight gap in sts) Row 3: Sl 1, P to st before the gap you created in row 2, P2tog, P1, turn. Row 4: Sl 1, K to st before the gap, Ssk, K1, turn. Repeat rows 3 and 4 until you have worked all of the sts, ending with completed row 4. You will have 10 (12, 14) sts left. Gusset/Foot: 4 DPN method: Divide heel sts evenly on two needles. Using needle on the left (Needle #1), PU 8 (10, 12) sts from side of heel flap. Continue Corded Rib Pattern (Round 1) on Needle #2. Repeat rounds 1 and 2 until 16 (20, 24) total sts remain. Place 12 sts on each needle and graft the toe together using Kitchener st.
