The Governing Body of the municipality holds its regular meetings in the Council Chamber, Borough Hall, 110 E. Westfield Ave., on the first and third THURSDAY of each month at 7:30 p.m. unless otherwise advertised. CAASA receives grant funding through The Governors Council on Alcoholism and Drug Abuse to implement the Information and Crisis Center (IACC) hotline. The hotline number 241-HELP(4357) may be called at any time. All calls are strictly

confidential. The Center is open 6:00 p.m. - 12:00 a.m. daily with experienced personnel available to give general information, make referrals, or just talk. CASANO COMMUNITY CENTER Our Center has something for everyone: Aerobics, Bingo, Crafts, Pizza Parties, Movies, Ceramics, Cards, Trips, Family Nights, Healthy Bones Program, Dances, Dinner Parties, Chinese Luncheons, Ice Cream Parlor Days, and more ... The center is also available for rental for private parties and events. Our volunteers and staff are always willing to listen and initiate new activities. If you have an interest in starting a new program or having your group or club meet at the center, please contact our Community Center Director Karen R. Intile at 245-0666 . The Roselle Park Community Center Committee meets at the Casano Community Center, 314 Chestnut St. on the first Wednesday after the first Tuesday of every month at 5:00 pm. There is no charge for PLANTING TREES on Borough property in front of a resident's property - Call the Department of Public Works (245-7676) for details. Residents may donate trees. Streets lined with shade or canopy trees increase property value and can produce a cooling effect equal to 10 room size air conditioners running 20 hours a day. POSTING SIGNS on any kind of Borough trees or poles is strictly prohibited, Police Dept. excluded ... TREES ON COUNTY ROADS (Galloping Hill Road, East Lincoln Avenue, Chestnut Street, Locust Street and Faitoute Avenue) are the County's responsibility.
