Some say Jesus is now in heaven at the right hand, standing or sitting next to the throne of God. This idea comes from a scripture in the book of Acts out of context. Let's read it. Acts 7:[55] But he, being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up stedfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God,[56] And said, Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God. [57] Then they cried out with a loud voice, and stopped their ears, and ran upon him with one accord,[58] And cast him out of the city, and stoned him: and the witnesses laid down their clothes at a young man's feet, whose name was Saul.[59] And they stoned Stephen, calling upon God, and saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit. If we read the whole reference, we see Stephen called upon God saying "Lord Jesus, receive my spirit." John also saw the glory of God or heaven in Revelations. First of all there is only one throne there. Revelations 4:[2] And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne. John 4:[24] God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. Spirits have no bodies. John 3:[5] Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.[6] That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.[7] Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.[8] The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit. God created all spirits such as angels and the rebels named devils. God is a spirit is singular. Did it say God of three seperate but equal forms? No. Nor did it say as some reported falsely, that God is spirit. Isaiah 41:[10] Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. Right hand means strength and power. Also, nearly all people are right handed, 90% of them. It is their stronger side. Here are some more examples of the same. 2 Corinthians 6:[7] By the word of truth, by the power of God, by the armour of righteousness on the right hand and on the left, [8] By honour and dishonour, by evil report and good report: as deceivers, and yet true. Psalm 48:[10] According to thy name, O God, so is thy praise unto the ends of the earth: thy right hand is full of righteousness. Mark 14:[62] And Jesus said, I am: and ye shall see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven. Jesus said it here himself, that right hand means power. In Matthew 25:[31] When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:[32] And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:[33] And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.[34] Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:[35] For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:[36] Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.[37] Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?[38] When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?[39] Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?[40] And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.[41] Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:[42] For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink:[43] I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.[44] Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?[45] Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you,

Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.[46] And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal. Here the sheep are on the right side of strength and goats on the side of weakness, or left side. Ecclesiastes 10:[2] A wise man's heart is at his right hand; but a fool's heart at his left. There should be no question as to the meaning of the right hand. After Jesus gave his final instructions to his Apostles, he went away. Luke 24:[51] And it came to pass, while he blessed them, he was parted from them, and carried up into heaven. Acts 1:[9] And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight. Some say he went in the flesh to the heavens. Not true. As flesh and blood cannot inherit heaven. 1 Corinthians 15:[50] Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.[51] Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,[52] In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.[53] For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.[54] So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. Jesus just faded out of view and then became a spirit. That is the answer. There is no doubt that Jesus came in the flesh, but he did not give glory to it. That is why he answered the man who called him good him so. Saying that only God is good. Luke 9:[28] And it came to pass about an eight days after these sayings, he took Peter and John and James, and went up into a mountain to pray.[29] And as he prayed, the fashion of his countenance was altered, and his raiment was white and glistering.[30] And, behold, there talked with him two men, which were Moses and Elias:[31] Who appeared in glory, and spake of his decease which he should accomplish at Jerusalem. This is also called the Transfiguration. The Greek word is "metamorpho" and it means to transform, literally or figuratively to metamorphose, or to change. The word is a verb that means to change into another form. It also means to change the outside to match the inside. The prefix "meta" means to change and the "morphe" means form. In the case of the transfiguration of Jesus Christ it means to match the outside with the reality of the inside. To change the outward so that it matches the inward reality. Jesus' divine nature was "veiled" (Hebrews 10:20) in human form and the transfiguration was a glimpse of that glory. He is God with us or Emmanuel. We all shall be changed in his likeness one day. 1 Thessalonians 4:[15] For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.[16] For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:[17] Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. As he was changed, so will we in like manner upon his soon return. Phillipians 3:[21] Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself. Ephesians 5:[27] That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. Romans 8:[29] For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. [30] Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified. In fact, all things will have a new form. Revelations 21:[1] And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.[2] And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.[3] And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will

dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.[4] And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.[5] And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.[6] And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.[7] He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.[10] And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God,[11] Having the glory of God: and her light was like unto a stone most precious, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal;[12] And had a wall great and high, and had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel:[13] On the east three gates; on the north three gates; on the south three gates; and on the west three gates.[14] And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.[15] And he that talked with me had a golden reed to measure the city, and the gates thereof, and the wall thereof. [16] And the city lieth foursquare, and the length is as large as the breadth: and he measured the city with the reed, twelve thousand furlongs. The length and the breadth and the height of it are equal.[17] And he measured the wall thereof, an hundred and forty and four cubits, according to the measure of a man, that is, of the angel.[18] And the building of the wall of it was of jasper: and the city was pure gold, like unto clear glass.[19] And the foundations of the wall of the city were garnished with all manner of precious stones. The first foundation was jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, a chalcedony; the fourth, an emerald;[20] The fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, sardius; the seventh, chrysolite; the eighth, beryl; the ninth, a topaz; the tenth, a chrysoprasus; the eleventh, a jacinth; the twelfth, an amethyst.[21] And the twelve gates were twelve pearls; every several gate was of one pearl: and the street of the city was pure gold, as it were transparent glass.[22] And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it.[23] And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.[24] And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it.[25] And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there.[26] And they shall bring the glory and honour of the nations into it.[27] And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life. In order to have your name written in the Lamb's book of life you must believe in him. This is to those who already heard the Gospel. Mark 16:[16] He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. Acts 2:[37] Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?[38] Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. These all heard and were convicted of the truth in their hearts, asking what to do to be saved. Acts 8:[12] But when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women.[13] Then Simon himself believed also: and when he was baptized, he continued with Philip, and wondered, beholding the miracles and signs which were done.[14] Now when the apostles which were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent unto them Peter and John:[15] Who, when they were come down, prayed for them, that they might receive the Holy Ghost:[16] (For as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.)[17] Then laid they their hands on them, and they

received the Holy Ghost. These in Samaria had heard the Gospel and by their belief in action, were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. Acts 10:[42] And he commanded us to preach unto the people, and to testify that it is he which was ordained of God to be the Judge of quick and dead.[43] To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins.[44] While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word.[45] And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost.[46] For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God. Then answered Peter,[47] Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we? [48] And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord. Then prayed they him to tarry certain days. Everyone who believes obeys the command of baptism in the name of Jesus. Acts 22:[12] And one Ananias, a devout man according to the law, having a good report of all the Jews which dwelt there,[13] Came unto me, and stood, and said unto me, Brother Saul, receive thy sight. And the same hour I looked up upon him.[14] And he said, The God of our fathers hath chosen thee, that thou shouldest know his will, and see that Just One, and shouldest hear the voice of his mouth.[15] For thou shalt be his witness unto all men of what thou hast seen and heard.[16] And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord. Real faith accompanies works. James 2:[17] Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.[18] Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.[19] Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.[20] But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?[21] Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar?[22] Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect?[23] And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God.[24] Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.[25] Likewise also was not Rahab the harlot justified by works, when she had received the messengers, and had sent them out another way?[26] For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also. Even as Jesus said, to believe and be to baptized. This is active faith. Since faith without resulting action is dead alone. There are many other scriptures that cover this subject. The important part is to remember that Jesus wants us to inherit all things by the grace of God, (Shown at Calvary and beyond.) and our faith. (Shown in our baptism and subsequent following of the word.) God bless us all in the all powerful and saving name of Jesus.
