Dear Ronnie: As you know, at the Board meeting on Tuesday, August 11, 2009, I tendered my resignation in protest of the Board’s 3-1 decision to terminate Dr. Bressler’s employer contract for “convenience.” At the time, I believed my resignation was the correct course of action. However, due to an outpouring of community and college support and the Board not having taken any formal action to accept my resignation, I have reconsidered that decision and am rescinding my resignation. I look forward to working with you, Frank, Ira and Tyler in rebuilding the Board’s reputation and in rebuilding the trust within the board members. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
