REVIEW GAME IDEAS TAPE BALL REVIEW… Students will answer a series of questions just as any review game. Students will be divided into two teams. (You may decide by dice, number one through 10, etc. to decide which team goes first.) First, a question is asked to the first player on the team. If the question is asked correctly, the student will then take a shot with the tape ball from the 3pt., 2pt., or 1pt. line into the basket (an empty recycling bin/trash barrel). If the student gets it into the basket directly (no bouncing off walls/objects and then going in), they get the number of points from the line they shot from. If their foot goes over the line, they are disqualified until their next turn. If the student doesn’t answer the question correctly, they may still make a shot, but only for one point. Only one shot per person each turn though (can’t answer correctly and get the incorrect shoot also). At the end of the game, the team with the most points wins. This game was taken from Mrs. Robichaud from 7th Grade Science in BPMS. This game is intended to last a duration of about 45 minutes. Sample Layout3pt. Line

CLASSROOM SCAVENGER HUNT… On index cards, write names, dates, places, and terms and scatter throughout the room. Label each index card with a different number. Have students make a list on a blank piece of lined paper with the numbers one through n (n being the number of index cards you put throughout the room). They then have to “search” for the index cards and then define the name, date, place, or term. You can decide how scoring might work in the situation that will work best. This game was taken from Ms. Barone from English in ELHS. This game is intended to last a duration of about 30 minutes.
