Inayet Hadi (BA, MPA) Profession: Aspiring public administration professional with interests in improving board governance and teaching and mentoring young professionals. Education • University of Colorado Denver, USA, Master of Public Administration (MPA), 2008 • Metropolitan State College of Denver, Bachelors of Arts in International Studies, 2006 During the masters program Mr. Hadi gained essential management skills, exercised leadership, discussed ethical judgment, learned organizational management, provided analysis of public policy and governance issues. While in the MPA program, Mr. Hadi analyzed and researched public policies to develop clear understanding of their benefits and costs to organizations in charge of implementing those policies. He successfully worked with teams on many different projects to research, analyze, and make informed recommendations. Mr. Hadi is great at noticing and figuring out ways to institute best practices from one type of organization to the work of another. Mr. Hadi's private firm, Hadi Technical and Consulting Services (HTCS), provides Boards of nonprofit organization strategic advice on Board Governance issues which includes the necessity of having and creating long term strategic plan for the organization, implementing and creating policies that deal with issues such as “conflict of interest” and “ethics issues” that can arise in organizational life. Mr. Hadi has served as the: Public Policy Intern at Colorado Nonprofit Association - Mr. Hadi tracked and wrote policy analysis on legislation of interest to the nonprofit community at the state level. Hadi enhanced the association’s outreach to its members by using social media website like LinkedIn to gain wider audience exposures. Mr. Hadi also assisted with coordinating trainings and meetings on policy issues with members of the association by helping plan the logistics and coordinating speakers for the Association's forum on how the nonprofits community in Colorado could participate in the spending of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) 2009 funds. Afterwards, Mr. Hadi researched and developed grant opportunities in excel database for nonprofits as the result of the passage of the (ARRA-2009). Mr. Hadi and another Public Policy colleague have identified over 120 grants which includes the Grant Opportunity Name , the Type of Opportunity, the Amount the grant is for, Overview of the grant, and How Nonprofits can Access Funds, along with the Contact Person responsible for administering the grant, and conducted research to gain more information about the grant opportunies. Independent Consultant at DenverVIP.com LLC – Mr. Hadi served as a member of a team developing a new internet firm marketing services to large and small businesses, as well as to individuals. He managed the expansion and integration of the company's website to include: taking note of inefficient methods and process being used that were wasting up way too many resources. Mr. Hadi also provided solutions to problems that he noticed while performing the tasks that he was hired to complete. As an independent consultant, Mr. Hadi attended high level business meetings with the founder of the company, and afterwards would provide founder with strategic advice on how our meetings could be better improved. Graduate Tutor for AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) at Jefferson Saints High School - Provided tutoring for youth ages 15-18 to improve school performance and achievement by facilitating student groups and teaching critical thinking, discussion and communication skills on a weekly basis. Mr. Hadi prepared an analysis of how and why the graduate tutors could align their administrative tasks to conform to the best practices outlined in the training documents. Afghan eQuality Alliances (AeQA) Fellows at Kabul University Institute of Public Policy and Administration (IPPA) - Through a USAID International Development grant administered by Washington State University, researched and disseminated public administration reference materials to help create six core courses at Kabul University’s first Institute of Public Policy & Administration (IPPA) offering a Master of Public Policy and Administration (MPPA) degree. Mr. Hadi also started the localization of the first student handbook for the IPPA program. Mr. Hadi enjoys sharing ideas and concepts with individuals and organizations that can improve their efficiency and work-related product. He is keen on returning to Afghanistan to share his formal academic knowledge and practical experiences with private and public organizations working inside of Afghanistan to better serve the people

and protect and enhance the environment for future generations. Mr. Hadi is an able young individual who can notice problem(s) and then develop the knowledge necessary to create alternative solutions that can work. Mr. Hadi is a self starter who likes to provide solutions to problems when they are noticed without having to be asked. He has worked successfully with many groups of individuals to accomplish their giving task whether in an academic setting or in a work environment. Mr. Hadi enjoy the challenge of working with other individuals to creating actionable solutions that benefits the organization that he is working for. He is detail oriented, has high level of energy, and can work with minimal work direction, and most importantly, he is capable of thinking/creating , or researching solutions to problems facing an organization. Mr. Hadi always enjoy learning and taking ownership of tasks and process that he is responsible for completing. One of the main motivations for Mr. Hadi in completing his undergraduate and Masters programs was that he wanted to return to Afghanistan to become involved with the necessary work of rebuilding Afghanistan that can compete with its neighbors and the world in every positive human endeavor.
