Duties and Responsibilities: • Interfaces with external customers to maintain ideal work relationship leading to customer satisfaction. • Provides periodic report to immediate superior on the status and progress of the tasks/projects taking into account issues and action resolutions. • Analyzes existing work procedures for efficiency and effectiveness. Coach and develop staff to operate autonomously in their functions. • Guides the group towards the development of systems and procedure necessary for an operating standard. • Provides internal/ external customer interface and conducts overall analysis for feedback related to lapses on quality, timeliness and cost using data to come up with action plans to prevent reoccurrences of the issues. • Tracks and manages the section in achieving the work section’s quality performance targets. • Measures and evaluates direct report personnel performance against QOS goals on a semi-annual basis. • Supervises and monitors the performance of each direct subordinates in accordance with what is indicated on individual KJR set at the start of every performance cycle. • Assesses section performance against quality metrics and develop corrective action plan in case there is deviation. • Using knowledge on specification and standards, reviews and analyzes error and quality failure feedback data and comes with a structures pattern of the potential causes and influence. • Generates Work Order for activities to be done remotely and ensures completion.

Plans, evaluates and recommends process improvements, operations, procedures that will enhance the work and information flow. Works with other engineering design personnel’s in the preparation of designs and design changes, necessitated by customer requirements. Organizes engineering related documents for new and existing products both in the development and completion stage. Analyze/input product specifications. Performs design/task reviews to ensure adherence to standards, specifications and work instructions. Reviews functions and specifications to determine construction and operational details considering such factors as feasibility of manufacture, interchangeability of parts, ease of operation, inspection and maintenance. Acquires immediate customer feedback on the quality, timeliness of the work output. Analyzes the internal customer feedback with intention to assess the existing work processes and develop improvement ideas. Coordinates with Product Design Team with regards to packaging, routing and design activity to assure timely release of technical information to support customer releases and manufacturing of parts. Generates stick diagram or fishbone to have a proper layout of the harness Ensures that fishbone conforms with 3D design Checks connector list to properly assign each connector’s distribution

Verifies vehicle features and analyze complexity for the harness routing Checks systems schematics and/or circuit list and properly assign circuits into its precise destination and should conform with Customer System requirement. Coordinates Design Changes and Print Corrections to affected Cebu/China Manufacturing Plant (where wiring harness is assembled) and Japan Product Engineering Team. Generates Product Change Request (PCR) to document changes as required by Customer Reviews drawing against the documented Product Change Request (PCR) to determine if the changes are incorporated and reflected. Supervises and approve supplier component design proposals for fixations and protective parts (channels, grommets and clips) prior to approaching customer engineering to obtain final design approval. Investigates concerns, provided resolutions and implemented corrective action. Assures delivery of prototypes to customer together with production launch responsible based on overall project schedule. Evaluates Design changes from the actual vehicle and assures feasibility of the design within manufacturing and assembly process requirements compatible with quality, weight cost and logistic targets. Supports all program dates and gateway (Engineering Responsibility) events according to Customer timing and comply with Quality Operating System (QOS) deliverables. Benchmark component/system design and manufacturing processes. Confirms Critical / Significant / Key Characteristics. Acts as liaison between Customer Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering and Design Engineering, through design issues meetings, manufacturing engineering meetings and updates. Also provide on time resolutions to plant issues and concerns and closely coordinates and supervises the checking activities between Departments.
