Dear experts In configuration editor, Translational restraint stiffness , rotational restraint stiffness and hanger restraint stiffness having the following list in pull down menu 1.13 E 03 1.13 E 05 1.13 E 07 1.13 E 09 1.13 E 011 I kindly request you to explain application of this different values, when to select different stiffness thank and regards pipeman

Unless you have a reason to change these values from the default "rigid" values, leave them alone. You can read the "help" on these items, but in short, these values define the default stiffness of the boundary condition. You can override these in the input, where you can specify an alternate value. If you leave the (input) stiffness value empty, CAESAR II will use these values from the Configuration. _________________________ Regards, Richard Ay Hexagon PPM (CAS)
