Naruto: Shaman Res Novae Summary: Alternate side story to anime. Hao Asakura is a mysterious traveler that has come to Hidden leaf with a purpose. Why is he showing an intrest in Naruto? Chapter One: Xeno Vas De Vases Night had fallen over the Village hidden in the leaves. Only ones about were the Anbu patroling the village at the time. They failed to notice a raven haired teenager sitting on a high building with a smile on his face. In his hand was a folder with the name Naruto Uzumaki written on it, the figure smiled as he scanned the file. "Vessel on the Nine Tailed Fox huh? He could be useful" he smirked and vanished. Several blocks away a certain blonde haired boy was trying to learn to water walk while his perverted white haired sensei slept nearby. He was pissed that his training was at a standstill, this pervert sannin was no better then his genin sensei. Failing for the thousandth time he sighed and just floated there in the water, he had lost all hope. "Giving up already? That's not like you at all" a smooth sounding voice pierced the night air. Naruto nearly jumped at the voice and quickly swam to the side of the hotspring. "Whose there show yourself!" he shouted. "My, my aren't you demanding? Tell me why show I reveal myself to someone who quits?" the voice asked pissing Naruto off. "I don't give up believe it!" Naruto shouted back. "Then come to me Naruto Uzumaki, I'm standing here waiting for you" the voice replied. Naruto finally noticed a figure standing on the otherside on the springs, gritting his teeth he ran around the spring to confront the figure.

"Who are you?" Naruto demanded, brandishing a kunai. The figure had waist length raven colored hair. Wore a long black poncho, black shinobi pants, red and black gloves and red and black boots. He had a large black and red Zanpato on his back and a smile on his face. "Nice to meet you Uzumaki-san, I am Hao Asakura" he smiled, fingering the sword handle on his back. Naruto stood in a defensive stance like he normally did when he encountered an enemy, Hao just stood there waiting. "You intrest me Vessel of Kyuubi" he spoke and Naruto froze, as did a white haired sannin nearby. "How do you know about that?" Naruto asked. "We are not so different Uzumaki, I too am hated for the power I obtained, I was so hated that I nearly killed my own father" Hao sighed as Naruto went wide eyed.
