1. In the CMT department only the direct recruitment quota is fixed as 66 2/3% where as in all the other catagories it is only 25%. Sir in this department the promotional chance is very remote and entry qualification is BE Metallurgy/chemicalEngineering hence the DR quota may please be brought down to 25%. 2. Ref. to foot note No:7 of above referred draft, it is requested that those who are promoted earlier to this proposed amendment should not be disturbed, since they have passed the examination conducted for the selection grade of CMS Grade II in the scale of Rs. 6500 - 10500. Please try to save them. 3. There are about 100 staff in this tiny organization in the entire Indian Railways who are non-science graduates stagnatted as CMA I for long years, for them a oral test by RDSO may please be conducted and they may be promoted as CMS II and given the scale of Rs. 6500-10500 with grade pay of Rs. 4600.
