Mr Ranjit Singh Wahla and Dr Jasbir Singh have been appointed by the Minister of Community Development and Sports as a Deputy Registrar of Marriages under the Women's Charter.

Do you know that YOU can now choose to have your civil (ROM) and religious (Anand Karaj) marriage at the same time!

Yes! That right. Now you can solemnize your civil marriage (ROM) at a date and place of YOUR choice, say YOUR own vows and have the ceremony conducted in both English and Punjabi. What more you can have the date of your ROM to coincide on the date of your religious ceremony at the Gurdwara.

What you have to do.  You still have to file the Notice of Marriage at the ROM at least 25 days ahead of the date of solemnization or religious marriage. For more information on the application procedure, kindly refer to the ROM's web site at www.rom.gov.sg.  Kindly call Mr Ranjit Singh at (h) 97804731 or Dr Jasbir Singh at (h) 6760 6490 (after 9pm) or (o) 6826 6132 or (HP) 31053410 to check their availability and to obtain their license number for filing the Notification of Marriage.  Check with Central Sikh Temple at 6299 3855 or Gurdwara Sahib Silat Road at 6222 2208 to reserve the place at the Gurdwara for your ROM. .
