Well thought out contributions to public good, still questions. Match coming from equipment lease credit (valid?) Company has weak capital base. Some areas will likely be contested by telecoms in the review process. Would add fiber middle mile east west but unclear at the present time where.

no middle mile north of Fort Bragg, lots of public safety needs do to multiple access points to the ocean (abalone diving among other activities) along this north coast stretch. Would be part of Rural Broadband Now application

Branscomb- needs middle mile, this could be a middle mile connection between Leggett (Hwy 101) who also doesn't have service and the coast which could facilitate middle mile between that junction and Fort Bragg. Would also need last mile designed.

This route is also included in the Rural Broadband Now proposal. The 101 Netlink project would not be included in an ARRA application- they will capitalize. The competing proposal from RBN would request to be in the proposal (technology they would use us unclear) The community reps have indicated they would like fiber as opposed to Microwave. There is a big pipe (federal?) serving the dam north of Weaverville along Hwy 3, might be able to be accessed.
