completion • Analyze and submit my quiz data to the instructor • Summarize the listing of tools and resources used to compile my guide Pre-Project Skills: Before this project, I did not know how to embed a document in a WIKI. I used Yahoo or Google to search for topics on the internet and I did not know how to apply words, widgets, documents and pictures to a WIKI page. Resources Used: • PDFCOKE • Search Engines and Meta-Search Engines such as clusty and alta vista • Delicious • WIKI editing tools, eg. Adding a widget • Quiz Star for teachers New Skills Practiced: • Using Power Point Radials • Used spell check and grammar check to ensure proper spelling and coherency • Checking the readability statistics using Word • Completed a screen shot of a component of my WIKI page • Using search engines other that Yahoo or Google to seek out information • Applying my knowledge of differentiated instruction and incorporating that into learning experiences Next Steps: • Continue to increase my comfort level with various search engine’s available • Increase my comfort when evaluating the credibility of a website • Continue to learn about differentiation and it’s classroom applications
