Stacie Gronski’s EDU 276 PORTFOLIO REFLECTION LOG Learning Log ARTIFACT NAME: • Class dates COMPONENTS:

FILE NAMES: ISTE NETS STANDARD(s): BRIEF OVERVIEW OF WHAT THE REVIEWER WILL SEE: CONTEXT IN WHICH THE WORK WAS COMPLETED: BULLETED REFLECTION:

• Work done in class • Assignments due • Next steps Learning Log Standard 5 - Productivity & Professional Practice: Teachers use technology to enhance their productivity and professional practice. See above to view the summary I have built of our EDU 276 class’ work over this past semester. The summary includes: • Work we have completed in class. • Work we have completed on our own. • Discussions and activities we have participated in during class. • Assignments we have completed and submitted. • Next steps to take on my own to further my educational experience. • For this learning log, I was expected to go to all scheduled EDU 276 classes and take notes of all happenings that occurred. • I was also expected to keep a record of assignments that were due throughout the semester. • Finally, I was expected to plan and take next steps to further my education and experiences on a certain subject or using a specific technology-based tool. Pre-Project Skills: Prior to this assignment, I had become quite familiar with Microsoft ® Word to type papers and essays. However, after completing the first part of this assignment, I was unaware of some of the other things that I could do in Word. Resources Used: As I worked on the learning log, I used the following resources, most of which I had either little or no experience in using: • Building tables in Microsoft ® Word, and adding cells and rows. • Zamzar. • Table editing tools in Word. New Skills Practiced: The primary new skills that I used in producing my learning log were the following: • Using tables. • Using spell- and grammar-check to ensure that everything was as clear and correct as possible. • Checking readability, using Word.

Next Steps: I have much more to learn, including the following: • How to modify tables to fit my expanding needs over the course of a project or assignment. • Increasing my comfort with tools in Word that I do not typically use. • Using tools from prior experiences to expand my understanding of new tools.
