To whom it may concern, It is my honor to recommend Ms. Chan Yee Shan, Sarah for matriculation into the Master’s degree in social work at xxx University. I have had the pleasure to know and work with Sarah as the Project Officer in The Hong Kong Council of Social Service under my supervision. She left the post upon the completion of the contract, with a satisfied performance. During her stay at council, she and her team set an exceptional record in the community-wide celebration programmes of International Day of Persons with Disabilities (IDPD) in which more than 500 people with and without disabilities worked together to complete a large jig-saw puzzle of over 10,000 square feet. She has shown excellent managerial skills to develop and implement project, whereas she is able to carry out certain amount of works independently. Tasks assigned to her are always completed on time satisfyingly. Besides, Sarah always being consistently pleasant, tackling all assignments with dedication and a smile. Following with the liaison and coordination with various stakeholders, including the public transport operators, government departments, rehabilitation agencies as well as the relevant working groups of 18 District Councils, her interpersonal skills are exemplary and appreciated by everyone who works with her. Hence, the arrangements of various activities such as the Free Ride Day of People with Disabilities, Ocean Park Fun Day, 18 Districts Caring Employer Recognition Scheme and the Celebration Ceremony of IDPD were significantly successful. Further, Sarah is an impressed includer, she is actively helping out the organization internal activities, whereas she is a good committee member of the staff retreated team. Her ideas were always creative and energetic. She shows tolerant and awareness of those who feel left out, and makes an effort to include them. To conclude, Sarah is a responsible, independent, friendly, impressed staff. Her performance was good and contributive to the implementation of IDPD.
