Explain to the children that they will read a story.

15 min Join the discussion of why the earth is sad

Before reading the story, she will ask the children some questions about the story cover: -

What do you see on the cover? How does the earth feel? Why is she sad?

Then she will have a discussion with the students explaining why is the earth is sad, because the boy is using too much water, the lights are turned on, throw the waste away etc

Resources

After that she will show them the happy earth side, she will ask the students how do we make the earth happy? Explain to the students that we protect the earth by reducing the use of water, electricity etc. Main activities
