Reading Activity

READING: I love summer holidays. I go to shopping with my mom and I play computer games. When I go out with my friends I always wear my favourite red t-shirt and blue shorts. I visit my cousin and play with a ball. She always wears a pink dress.

I love summer but not winter. I don’t like cold days but I like the snow. I make snowballs and play with my brother. In winter, I wear a green jumper and brown trousers.

Pre-reading (ice-breaker): showing pictures before reading the texts. Ss describe the pictures. They can think any idea about the pictures: colours, clothes, weather, and actions. While-reading: Ss search new words and highlight them with a colour. Post-reading: Ss write about their favourite clothes “My favourite clothes are”
