Was fully manifested in his son, Jesus Christ, who is the truth, comes to set us free.

Truth means primarily that quality of human interpersonal relationships and behavior that is: 

grounded in God, the Father, the source of all truth.

What really is a truth?

-Like the other commandments, this commandment must be understood in the context of the covenant. For the truth and truthful witness in the J udeao-Christian traditions are never just an individual “private matter”. Neither do they refer to some impersonal, philo-scientific notion of “unveiling” objective reality.

“Acquire a fresh, spiritual way of thinking. You must put on that new man created in God’s image, whose justice and holiness are born of truth. See to it, then, that you put an end to lying. Let everyone speak the truth to his neighbor, for we are members of one another” (Ephesians 4: 23-25)

“If you live accordingly to my teaching, you are truly my disciples; then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free” (John. 8: 31-32)
