Student demonstrates all mature critical features: - Athletic stance - Head up & eyes forward - Fingers spread on top of the ball - Pushes ball down w/finger pads & wrist - Bounces ball at waist level

Student demonstrate most mature critical features: - Athletic Stance - Head down & eyes looking down at ball - Fingers spread on top of the ball - Pushes ball down w/ finger pads & wrist - Bounces ball at waist level

Student demonstrates some mature critical features: - Standing straight up - Head down & eyes looking down at ball - Closed hand & not on top of ball - Pushes ball down w/ fingers pads & wrist - Bounces ball at waist level

Student demonstrates a mature critical feature: - Standing straight up - Closed hand & not on top of ball - Slaps ball with palm -Bounces ball at waist level

Student does not demonstrate any mature critical features: - Standing straight up - Closed hand & not on top of ball - Slaps ball with palm - Bounces ball too high

Student demonstrates all mature critical features: - Both dominant and non-dominant hands firmly hold ball - Holds ball close to chest - Steps out towards teammate - Pushes ball out from chest - Aim between teammates waist and shoulders

Student demonstrate most mature critical features: - Both dominant and non-dominant hands firmly hold ball - Holds ball close to chest - Stands in same position - Pushes ball out from chest - Aim between teammates waist and shoulders

Student demonstrate some critical features: - One hand loosely on ball - Holds ball out to side - Stands in same position - Pushes ball out from chest - Aims between teammates waist and shoulders

Student demonstrates a mature critical feature: - One hand loosely on ball - Holds ball out to side - Stands in same position - Passes ball from side - Aims between teammates waist and shoulders

Student does not demonstrate any mature critical features: - Standing straight up - Stands in same position - Passes ball from side - Doesn't pass anywhere near teammate
