Question tags are special sentence patterns in English that are used to request confirmation, approval or confirmation. Question tags are in the form of statements followed by mini-questions.

There are several things that must be considered in Question Tags, including:



1. If a positive statement is followed by a negative tag Positive Statement (+)

2. If a negative statement is followed by a positive tag. Negative Statement (-) Budi doesn’t like coffee

Positive Tag (+)

Does he?

Budi tidak suka kopi, kan?

1. The word "NOT" in Negative Tag is always abbreviated (will not = won’t). 2. Use a personal pronoun in the tag (Budi isn't fit, is he?)
