Quarks
Quarks, together with leptons, are the fundamental constituents of matter and the smaller particles have been identified. Almost all species of quarks combine to form particles such as protons and neutrons. There are 6 different types of quarks: up, down, charn, strange, top, bottom. Quarks are not found free in nature but they are grouped by hadron, they are divided by: • Mesones made up of a quark and an antiquark. • Baryonic made up of three quarks.

Extra information The charge of quark is + ⅓ or ⅔. The leptons is a particle that is not experiencing strong interaction. The leptons are part of a family of elementary particles. The antiquark is the antiparticle corresponding to a quark.
