Kristina Gunsalus’ work focuses on professional ethics, with an emphasis on research and organizational ethics, communication and conflict resolution. She is a professor in the Colleges of Business and Medicine and also serves as Special Counsel in the Office of University Counsel.
A licensed attorney, she has served on the Committee of Research Integrity of the Association of American Medical Colleges and as chair of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) Committee on Organized Scientific by Freedom and Responsibility. In 2004, she was elected a Fellow at AAAS in recognition of her work. In 2005, she was appointed to the Illinois Supreme Court’s
