PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: PROTEK ETL is a two-component epoxy coating formulated from high grade resins and curing agents for storage tanks. It is supplied in pre-measured quantities ready for site mixing and use. It hardens to an abrasive resistance coating with high adhesive strength on properly prepared substrates such as concrete and steel. PROTEK ETL is water impermeable and has an excellent resistance to oil, solvents, alkalis, and most dilute acids. CUSTOMER BENEFITS  Pre-packaged and proportioned  Excellent durability  High resistance to chemical and mechanical attack  Can be applied to vertical and horizontal substrates  Can be applied directly to steel and concrete  Excellent adhesion  Smooth, glossy and easy to clean surface  User friendly mix ratio RECOMMENDED FOR Coating the interior and exterior surfaces of concrete, steel and wooden tanks such as those used for storing potable water, chemicals (except for high concentrated acids), grains, powders and other liquids. It may be reinforced with fiberglass as in the case of concrete structures that are not integrally waterproofed. It is also used as a grouting material to seal off the gaps where ceramic tiles are used to line storage tanks. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE Preparation Concrete Surfaces All surfaces must be smooth, sound and free from debris. Surfaces must be free from oil and other contamination. Concrete surfaces must be free from any traces of release oils and curing compounds.

Steel Surfaces All surfaces should be grit blasted and the newly cleaned steel should be coated as soon as possible before the formation of rust. Mixing The entire contents of the hardener should be added to the base container and mixed thoroughly until a uniform consistency is obtained. Prepare enough materials that can be applied within 20-30 minutes. Application The mixed material should be applied with a suitable stiff nylon type brush. The first coat must be firmly applied and scrubbed into the surface ensuring a uniform coating. Second and subsequent coats may then be applied as necessary allowing 6 hours between each coat. PACKAGING PROTEK ETL is available in 1-gal set. COVERAGE Actual coverage depends on the texture and porosity of the concrete surface. Recommended application rate is 10m2 per gallon kit. STORAGE PROTEK ETL has a shelf life of 1 year if kept in a dry store in the original, unopened containers. FIRE PROTEK ETL is flammable. HEALTH AND SAFETY PROTEK ETL should not come in contact with skin and eyes or be swallowed. In case of contact with the skin, rinse with plenty of clean water, then cleanse with soap and water. Wear suitable protective clothing, gloves and eye protection. Ensure good ventilation during use.
