Planning/Prep
No planning or Needs frequent organization evident, prompting to prepare unmotivated to prepare for projects, approaches projects with less than positive attitude
Generally positive, but lacks motivation to prepare without prompting
Positive and organized, notes, supplies, tools etc. gathered and ready without prompting
Work Habits
Doesn't work in a timely manner and/or doesn't complete project wasteful of products
Work completed but inefficient use of time and/or products, has trouble staying on task
Stays on task and is aware of product usage, takes steps to self-correct
Highly efficient with both time and products
Sanitation
Work station and personal sanitation completely disregarded
Moderately clean work Mostly clean and space and personal sanitized – needs sanitation – many occasion reminders reminders needed
Excellent attention to work space and personal sanitation – few if any reminders are needed to maintain
Clean-Up
No concern for cleanup of work area, products not properly stored, work space left dirty
Some effort to clean workspace and store products but somewhat careless in effort
Good effort to leave workspace clean and store products properly with only minor oversights
Excellent and meticulous care taken to leave work station clean and store products safely and properly
Product
Little concern for product quality or presentation. Did not follow instructions.
Product meets basic levels of quality and presentation. Instructions were followed with only minimal effort
Product quality and presentation is good, but needs more attention to detail is needed. Instructions were followed.
Exceptional care given to product quality and presentation. Shows effort beyond basic instructions.
Teamwork
Does not make an effort to help others or is overly dominating with classmates
Cooperative in assisting others but doesn't take initiative to do so unless asked
Helps others willingly and positively but needs occasional reminders to do so
Positively encourages and offers help, anticipates potential problems and actively work to solve them
Follow-Up
Does not participate in Participates in followfollow-up discussions up discussions or and evaluations evaluations only when directed to do so
Actively participates in discussions and evaluations without excessive prompting
Actively engages in discussions and positively engages others in the learning process
