Prophet // Prophète

A prophet (Hebrew nabi', Greek prophêtês [3694]) in the Bible is someone who speaks a message on behalf of God, a spokesman for God. In the New Testament, the word almost always refers to Old Testament prophets. // Un prophète (hébreu nabi’, gr. prophêtês) dans la Bible est quelqu’un qui donne un message au nom de Dieu, un porte-parole de Dieu.
