Design Brief Bird House, Design and Manufacture
With the use of traditional jointing methods and quality craftsmanship, unique and outstanding artefacts can be generated through design process. As part of the design process, students are required to generate three different possible outcomes for the given project. With the use of one unique jointing method (other than joints in current working drawing) and a specific design to the roof of the artefact, each student will have their own unique outcome. Students will be required to shape the roof to incorporate a visually attractive outcome Using the given working drawing, create a unique artefact which symbolises culture and difference from others. Marks will be allotted to those who exceed in the design process stage and generate symbolic and unique artefacts.
