Implant system.
The wide range of MIS implant product lines provides a variety of clinical solutions such as reconstruction of a single tooth, screw-retained or cemented fixed bridges and overdentures. Furthermore, MIS implants can be used in any surgical and bone augmentation procedures, from the simplest to the most intricate. All MIS implants adhere to the highest international standards and have ISO, and CE approvals. They are made of biocompatible medical grade titanium, and their surface is dualroughed by sand blasting and acid-etching procedures.
MIS BioCom Implants are titanium cylinder screw type implants that are designed for both two-stage and single stage procedures. They are self tapping with a unique wide thread design, and tapered threads on their apical part.
The MIS self-tapping Seven Implants are especially designed for implantation in a wide range of bone types and bone augmentation procedures. Their new geometric design includes dual threads, three spiral channels stemming from the apex, micro rings on the implants’ neck, and a changing thread thickness along the implant. All MIS Seven implants are supplied with a single use final drill for reducing the heat produced during drilling, resulting in improved osseointegration.
MIS UNO unique implants are specifically engineered for narrow ridges and tight spaces. The insertion of the UNO implant is a quick and simple one stage procedure. Due to their innovative geometries and advanced surface morphology these unique implants offer high initial stability. These versatile implants can be used to restore single crowns and anterior cemented bridges.

Mountless.
All MIS BIOCOM and SEVEN implants will now be supplied without mounts. These successful implants remain unchanged, but will be supplied without the blue mounts, and will be packaged in distinctive and easily recognizable boxes (Page 24). The BIOCOM and SEVEN mountless implants, have their own tools, available as a set (MK-0037) or purchased separately.

The new packaging is designed for easy identification and use of our new mountless implants. Quick identification features include distinctive color coded boxes, large easy to read lettering and a bright yellow strip which specifically identifies the product as mountless. Added features include a pull tab, for quick and easy opening and newly designed polystyrene tubes for quick and easy extraction of the implants.

The features of the Ceramic Drills include reduced vibration; pleasant, smooth operation; and continuous substance removal, whether used in implantology or oral surgery. The MIS Ceramic Drills are made of a high performance ceramic mix of partly stabilized by yttrium and aluminium ceramic. The mixture of these two established materials provides MIS Ceramic Drills with an above-average bending strength of 2000 MPa. In comparison, the bending strength of zirconium oxide ceramic, which is used, among other things, for manufacturing root posts, is 1200 MPa. The MIS Crest Widener is used to widen a narrow alveolar crest which has sufficient height for implantation. By separating the cortical plates new bone is created in between the plates, and the attached gingiva is extracted simultaneously. With this technique, bone augmentation is avoided, the implant is placed in the correct lateral position and sufficient attached gingiva is obtained. In addition, the widener can be used to allow easy distal or mesial orthodontic movements of the molars.
The Crest widener consists of 4 arms, 2 on each side connected with guiding pins and an activating screw. Also provided in the kit: handle key and titanium wire.

The Reverse Abutment technical kit facilitates the accurate drilling of a screw canal through the completed RA Prior to its casting.
The Drilling Fixture The drilling fixture is a mechanical device for creating the housing of the abutment screw once the PCE and the ICE are definitively connected.
The fixture is made up of four components: 1. The ”body,” (4) with a Ø2.3 mm hole on top; on the bottom, an aperture allowing the positioning of the footer; and on the lateral side a screw to be activated by an “elen”. 2. One function Bone resorption/substitution. 4BONE is a non structural bioactive bone graft substitute, which is resorbable and able to be rapidly replaced by newly-formed bone. The 4BONE is a ceramic constituted of two-phase of calcium phosphate 60 % hydroxyapatite and 40 % beta tricalcium phosphate. The hydroxyapatite (HA) - Ca10(PO4)6(OH)2 is chemically comparable to biological apatite crystals. Both in vitro and in vivo, chemically pure hydroxyapatite is considered as the least bioactive of calcium phosphate ceramics. Beta tricalcium phosphate (beta TCP) – Ca3(PO4)2 is recognized to have greater bioactivity, greater extend of dissolution than HA in vitro and in vivo.

Resorbable collagen membrane 4BONE-RCM is from highly purified collagen fibres type I and III derived from skin of porcine origin. 4BONE-RCM membrane is obtained by collagen cross linking using formaldehyde technology, and neutralized after. 4BONE-RCM membrane is fully resorbable eliminating the need for the second surgical procedure often required to remove a non resorbable membrane. Collagen is currently used for general and dental surgery as an absorbable haemostatic agent and absorbable wound dressing.
