PROCEDURE MANUAL FOR ONLINE BOOKING ON AMADEUS

GET MANDATORY INFORMATION FROM THE PASSENGER CHECK THE FARES AS PER REQUESTED DATES & AIRLINE CHECK THE AVAILABILITY BOOK THE SEAT/S FEED THE MANDATORY INFORMATION PRICE THE ITINERARY INPUT SPECIAL REQUESTS AND OTHER INFORMATION SET A TICKETING TIME LIMIT RECEIVE AND END RETRIVE PREVIOUS PNRs HOW TO GET OUT OF A PNR

1) GET MANDATORY INFORMATION FROM THE PASSENGER:When a passenger comes in for booking or any fare’s inquiry one has to ask some mandatory questions to him/her, so that one has the basic information required to make a booking or reservation. a) Destination b) Date of travel c) Class of travel d) Passenger’s contacts(cell no. e-mail id, contact no. of the destination) e) Number of passengers

Seating, meal request Visa requirement Other requests made by passengers.

2) CHECK THE FARE AS PER REQUESTED DATES & AIRLINE:ENTRY: - a) FQDBOMLON/D25MAY/S (this will give you the valid fares on 25th may starting from lowest for all the available airlines) b) FQDBOMLON/D25MAY/AAI(this entry will give you the valid fares on Air India…..quote fare from Mumbai to London on 25th May for Air India) Once you have the lowest fares and classes, you can check the availability for the particular class if the rules & regulations match as per passenger’s requirement.

3) CHECK THE AVAILABILITY:Once the class and airline are decided you can check whether the seats are available or not on the desired airline. ENTRY: - AN25MAYBOMLON/AAI (check availability on 25th May from Mumbai to London on Air India) This will give you the complete information about a particular flight; which includes, a) flight number, b) available classes & no. of seats, c) via points, d) flight timings.
