Jefferson Community College Foundation Announces First Jefferson-Can Scholars Program Recipients The Jefferson Community College Foundation announces the 2007 recipients of the Jefferson-Can Scholars Program Scholarships. Students in the top 15% of high schools in Jefferson and Lewis County are eligible for the awards, which provide full-tuition scholarships for the first year at JCC after all other financial aid is applied. The scholarship is funded through gifts to the Foundation’s annual fund and support of its various events. A major gift was also received from Stephen H. Can and from a local corporation.
