Preliminary Research Introduction This investigation was done in order to get familiar with the booking systems around the province and to also understand the type of events that have been and will be held at the 3 specified venues so that we understand the amount of data the system will be handling. Booking Management Industry Best-Selling Events For the Mmabatho Convention Center the best selling events in the past were the Joyous Celebration concert in 2008 and the Rhema New Life Church Awakening which happens on a yearly basis. The Convention Center also hosts government events. For the Mmabatho Stadium the best selling events were the Telkom Charity Cup and the derby match between Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates. Future Events Events most likely to be held at the Mmabatho Convention Center are still the Awakenings hosted by Rhema New Life Church For the Mmabatho Stadium, derby matches in the ABSA Premier League, the Telkom Charity Cup, youth events hosted by the government
