Use the vitals to find your most explosive players. First mark the scores, then rate each score among the others players scores. 1 being the best or highest score and on down the line. If you have twenty five players the lowest score will be a twenty five Except on age and experience. Separate these ratings by 2 point increments. After rating all the scores then add them up and the lowest score is the best. I have listed all these on one page to show you how it works The way to do it is to have 2 pages that are the same. On one page take the vitals. On the next page rate them among each other. This is a must for an experienced coach. I use these same ratings and add in toughness, effort, and mental power. I mark down who wins each distance run> I mark down each players attendance. I mark down and evaluate each players toughness. I mark down and evaluate each players ability to follow directions. I then add them all in and make a new rating scale. These work best when made on your home computer with microsoft excel. That way you can put in all the data then have the computer organize the weights and measures any way you tell it to.
