Sir, Sub: Government College of Technology, Coimbatore – Quotation for supply of Stores and equipments – called for – Reg. ******** Please furnish your quotations, addressed to the PRINCIPAL, Government College of Technology, Coimbatore - 641 013, for the supply of stores / equipments mentioned overleaf in a sealed cover super scribed with the reference number of the enquiry and the due date of the quotation. Please note that the quotations should be received at this office is before 5.00 p.m. on 05.01.2007 The rates quoted should clearly indicate the sales tax and surcharge applicable. Packing and forwarding charges, if any, should be indicated clearly. Please note that this being a Government Institution the insurance charges, if any, should be borne only by you. In this connection you are also informed that as per G.O. Ms No. 303 / Commercial Taxes & R.E. Department dt. 26.03.198, T.N.G.S.T. is allowed only at 4% and necessary C/D form will be issued. The delivery period required by you for supply of the items after receipt of a firm order should be clearly stated. Quotations received after the due date will not be considered. If the stores / equipments are available under the D.G.S & D rate contract, relevant particulars should be furnished in full. PLEASE NOTE THAT PAYMENT FOR THE STORES SUPPLIED BY YOU WILL BE EFFECTED WITHIN 3 WEEKS FROM THE DATE OF RECEIPT OF GOODS IN GOOD CONDITION AND ON SATISFACTORY DEMONSTRATION OF THE WORKING OF THE EQUIPMENT. PAYMENT IN ADVANCE IN PART OR IN FULL OR PAYMENT THROUGH BANK AGAINST PROOF OF DESPATCH OF DOCUMENTS WILL NOT BE ENTERTAINED. IT MAY PLEASE BE NOTED THAT IF YOU DO NOT ACCEPT FOR OUR PAYMENTS TERMS, YOUR OFFER WILL BE SUMMARILY REJECTED. Fragile and costly equipments / stores will be accepted only on open delivery basis. If open delivery system is not possible for any valid reason, the goods should be insured for appropriate value and the insurance charges will have to be borne only by you. Damages, if any, during transit should be made good by you.

For the equipments, instruments and accessories, illustrated leaflets / pamphlets pertaining to the equipments should be sent along with the quotation. Besides, the name of the manufacturer, make, model number and other technical information should be furnished along with the quotation. If materials and equipments are not available which will meet the exact specifications prescribed here, quotation may be sent for materials which can meet the critical specifications for the equipments / stores. In the event of placing an order with you, an agreement in the prescribed format on a Rs.2.50 non-judicial stamp paper should be executed with the Principal by you.
