The European Council Committees are beyond reach. Everybody can be lobbied, but the more a lobbyist goes down in the hierarchy, the more transparent and convincing has to be.

We just have to take a look at the bodies that are seen in Europe, to realize that obesity is increasing.

Some of the campaign actions are:   

Restrict unhealthy food (processed meat) and beverages (sugar drinks) Increase physical activity Stop wasting your free time in television, computer or simply the sit time

Slide 4 The aims of the obesity Campaign: 

Give more support to scientific research into prevention of obesity diseases, making an emphasis in the current problem faced because of obesity: the liver and pancreas or as well, the research cancer caused by. Educate families about obesity and its negative consequences, with the aim to reduce it. Teach future mothers about healthy eating prior and after giving birth, as well as healthy feeding of the family. Asses political awareness of obesity and its adverse health consequences, through lobbying parliament and staging public and private engagement events.

Forecasts estimated that for 2020, obesity in men will be 13% and 14% in women, and for 2030 15% men and 14% women.
