DESIRE Desire, I do An excuse To desire you....!! What can I say, When I don’t behoove To bind you In either kinship or love For you are who you are Above bonds or desire....!! Desire, I do Complete freedom For you....!! And yet I don’t want you free From my love’s proximity Desire, I do An embrace From you....!! What can I do.? For my heart pines Even in its daydream For you....!! What can I do.? For I love you....!! I do not see, Defining this love Or giving it a name, As necessary Is there a way.? For this tide of desires To wane.?? For I desire to see, On the shore What is left of me....!! Arif Jafar

If you are a man Those ramparts of this system Let them define The definitions Of being a man You merely have to break the chains That binds you to this system And raise your voice to protest This so called manly establishment If all that you desire Is free love Friendship A life of trust The all that you need to do, Is raise the standard of revolt Let them endless say It’s the end of morals It’s the end of families Lte them drink From the cup of feminine sensuality Or dance to the wild tunes of bellies You sing The song freedom With your companion You talk Of love Of equality Of intimacy You compose Tunes of revolt On this stage of morality You craft the true new myth You rise enthused And go over The so called bounds Of sexuality Arif Jafar
