PHONE and TALK SENIOR TEACHING SKILLS Important Factors:

1. Make sure that you correct your students’ grammar and pronunciation all the time. 2. Teacher-Student TALK RATIO must be 80-20. 3. Time management is very important. When you don’t finish the class on time and the call is disconnected the student feels ignored. 4. If you don’t have a next class; you may call the student back and apologize that the line got cut off. (It is still best to finish the call on time always) 5. The teacher’s pronunciation, accent and intonation are very important. Senior Classes:

1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7.

(tips/extension questions) Refrain from letting the student just read and read. Always think of what the student would want to do in class. Show sincerity and dedication in teaching your student. Think about the students’ skill level and ability. (each student is different)
