Photosynthesis
Photosynthesis is a process by which a plant produces its food from energy, from sunlight, Carbon Dioxide from the air, water from the soil.
Plant parts
The basic parts of a plant are roots, stems, leaves, flowers, fruits, and seeds . There are different kinds of roots & stems.
Leaves
Many animals depend on leaves for there diet. Leaves make sugar for our cake, candy, and other sugary sweets A maple leaf is as big as your hand! Leaves are good to eat. They are called edible leaves.
The stem Stems carry water & nutrients taken up by the roots to the leaves
Carbon Dioxide
Carbon Dioxide comes through the air and into tiny slots through the leaves.
