Construction of the self-supported type: Material of conductor: Al-99, 5-E Aluminium Conductor: stranded, compacted, round Insulation: UV proof cross linked PE (XLPE) Cable bundles: insulated cores are stranded together with a lay ratio of 20-30 D (D=Bundle Diameter) Generally, the insulated cores have the same cross-section, however as per request lighting core could be used. The cores are clamped and stringed independently at installation.

The messenger cable is gripped at installation, bearing the mechanical load and acting as “0” conductor at the same time.
