alkiviades philippides has been awarded a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the national technical university of athens in 2004 and he is completing the postgraduate in ‘arts and technologies of sound’ at the music department of ionian university in corfu. moreover he has attended the first year at the department of computer systems of tei piraeus in 1996-1997. he has participated in the program ‘environment-pythagoras ii - funding of researching groups in ionian university’ and in particular in the subwork ’research and survey of selected greek soundscapes’ and he has worked for the program ‘reformation-new programs for the postgraduate studies in ionian university’ and in particular in the subwork: ‘arts and technologies of sound’ for the period 1/3/06 – 31/8/06. contact: [email protected]
