Fish

One of the most common pets in Iowa is a dog. I assume that you know what that is. It is a four legged animal similar to a dingo. It goes woof.  We also have cats which are smaller than dogs and don’t act like Snake them. They have ears that stick up and their sound is MEOW. I am sure you know what a fish is but I will explain it anyway. It is a water creature that can swim but not survive on land. Not very many people have reptiles but some have snakes and lizards. Lizards are four legged snakes. Snakes are no legged lizards. Lizards Some people have rodents like a hamster or a guinea pig. They are like really big mice. The rarer pets are lamas and Cows. In case you didn’t know, Iowa is a huge state for farming. We grow a lot of corn and other things. We also have a lot of livestock so we have cows, pigs, chickens, and turkeys. Cat 
