An Announcement Regarding the First Crescent Moon (Hilal) of the Blessed Month of Ramadhan for the Year 1430 Hijri Thursday, 20 August 2009 19:46

Bismillah Ar-Rahman Ar-Raheem “The Month of Ramadhan, in which the Qur’an was revealed, is guidance for mankind and clear

proofs for the guidance and the criterion (between right and wrong). So whoever of you sights (the crescent on the first night of) the month (of Ramadhan), he must fast that month, and whoever is ill or on in a state of travelling, then the missed days must be made up from other days. Allah intends for you ease and not difficulty. (He wants that you) complete the number of days and glorify Him for having guided you, and that you may be thankful to Him.” [Al-Baqarah: 185] Alhamdulillah and peace be upon the Messenger of Allah (sallAllahu ‘alayhi wasallam), and peace be upon his family, his companions, those who gave their loyalty to him, and those who followed him, tracing his steps and establishing the Islamic ‘Aqeeda as the foundation for their thought, and the Ahkam Al-Shar’iyyah as the measure for judgment in their actions and the source of their laws. It was narrated by Al-Bukhari in his Sahih on the authority of Muhammed Bin Ziyad, who said, “I heard Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, say: ‘The Messenger of Allah (sallAllahu ‘alayhi wasallam) said’, or he said, ‘Abu Al-Qasim (sallAllahu alayhi wasallam) said: Fast when you see it, and break your fast when you see it, and if you cannot see it then complete 30 days of Sha’ban.’” And after seeking the Hilal of the blessed month of Ramadhan on this Thursday evening (the night of Friday), a legal (Shar’ee) sighting of the moon has NOT been confirmed, and therefore Friday will be the completion of 30 days of Sha’ban inshaAllah. Saturday will be the first day of the blessed month of Ramadhan. On this occasion, the Ameer of Hizb ut-Tahrir , the Alim ‘Ataa Bin Khaleel Abu Al-Rashta, may Allah protect him, greets the Islamic Ummah on the advent of the blessed month of Ramadan and asks Allah (subhanahu wa ta’ala) to honour this Ummah, to grant her a great victory, so that Islam is implemented as the Lord of the world (subhanahu wata’ala) ordered, and carried to the world by Da’wa and Jihad to take all of mankind from the darkness of kufr to the light of Islam. And the Ameer - may Allah strengthen his foothold - prays to Allah (subhanahu wa ta’ala) that the Khaleefah himself will announce next year’s Ramadhan, by the permission of Allah (subhanahu wa ta’ala), and on that day the believers will rejoice at the victory from Allah (subhanahu wa ta’ala). “And We wished to be gracious to those who were being depressed on the land, to make them leaders (in faith) and make them heirs.” [Al-Qasas: 5] The head of the Media Office of Hizb ut-Tahrir, as well as all those working within it, send their congratulations and warm wishes on this blessed month to the respected Ameer of Hizb ut-Tahrir and all Muslims, asking Allah (subhanahu wa ta’ala) to allow us to benefit from this month of forgiveness and goodness and to witness Laylatul Qadr and to honour us with its reward. O Allah, Lord of the heavens and earth! Allow us to give the bay’ah (pledge of allegiance) to the Khaleefah of the Muslims in the second Khilafah Rashida. Aameen, O Allah, Aameen! Jika penglihatan kalian diselimuti mendung, maka sempurnakanlah hitungan Sya’ban menjadi 30 hari.” Setelah mencari Hilal Ramadhan Mubarak pada malam ini, yaitu malam Jum’at, maka ru’yat Hilal secara syar’i tidak ditemukan, sehingga besok bilangan Sya’ban digenapkan, dan lusa, hari Sabtu adalah 1 Ramadhan Mubarak 1430 H. Dalam kesempatan ini, Amir Hizbut Tahrir, al-’Alim al-Jalil ‘Atha’ bin Khalil Abu Rusytah, semoga Allah senantiasa menjaganya, mengucapkan selamat kepada umat Islam atas datangnya bulan Ramadhan Mubarak. Beliau memohon kepada Allah agar Dia memberikan pertolongan kepada umat ini dengan pertolongan yang mulia dan memenangkan. Sehingga Islam bisa diterapkan sebagaimana yang diperintahkan oleh Tuhan semesta alam. Islam juga bisa diemban ke seluruh dunia dengan dakwah dan jihad, sehingga bisa membebaskan manusia dari kegelapan Kufur menuju cahaya Islam. Amir, semoga Allah membimbing langkahnya, memohon kepada Allah agar Khalifah sendirilah yang akan menyampaikan sambutan Ramadhan pada tahun depan, dengan izin Allah. ‫الحمد ل والصلة والسلم على رسول ال وعلى آله وصحبه ومن واله‪ ،‬ومن تبعه‬ ‫فترسم خطاه؛ فجعل العقيدة السلمية أساسا لفكرته والحكام الشرعية مقياسا لعماله‬ ‫ومصدرا لحكامه أما بعد‪،‬‬ ‫أخرج البخاري في صحيحه من طريق محمد بن زياد قال‪ :‬سمعت أبا هريرة رضي‬ ‫ال عنه يقول‪ :‬قال النبي صلى ال عليه وآله وسلم أو قال‪ :‬قال أبو القاسم صلى ال‬ ‫عليه وآله وسلم‪ ” :‬صوموا لرؤيته وأفطروا لرؤيته فإن غـبي عليكم فأكملوا عدة‬ ‫شعبان ثلثين”‪.‬‬ ‫وبعد تحري هلل رمضان المبارك في هذه الليلة ليلة الجمعة فإنها لم تثبت رؤية‬ ‫الهلل رؤية شرعية وعليه فإن غدا هو المتمم لشعبان إن شاء ال وسيكون بعد غد‬ ‫السبت هو أول أيام شهر رمضان المبارك‪.‬‬ ‫وبهذه المناسبة فإن أمير حزب التحرير العالم الجليل عطاء بن خليل أبو الرشتة‬ ‫حفظه ال يهنئ المة السلمية بشهر رمضان المبارك‪ ،‬ويسأله سبحانه وتعالى أن‬ ‫ينصر هذه المة نصرا عزيزا مؤزرا‪ ،‬فيطبق السلم كما أمر رب العالمين‪ ،‬ويحمل‬ ‫للعالمين بالدعوة والجهاد‪ ،‬فيخرج البشر من ظلمات الكفر إلى نور السلم‪ ،‬وإن‬ ‫المير سدد ال خطاه يسأل ال جل في عله أن يلقي الخليفة نفسه كلمة رمضان العام‬ ‫القادم بإذن ال‪ ،‬ويومئذ يفرح المؤمنون بنصر ال‪.‬‬ ‫ض وَ َنجْ َع َلهُمْ أَئِمّ ًة وَ َنجْ َع َلهُمُ ا ْلوَارِثِينَ(‬ ‫ن عَلَى الّذِينَ اسْتُضْ ِعفُوا فِي الَ ْر ِ‬ ‫)وَنُرِيدُ َأنْ نَ ُم ّ‬ ‫كما ويسر رئيس المكتب العلمي المركزي لحزب التحرير وجميع العاملين فيه أن‬ ‫يهنئوا فضيلة أمير حزب التحرير الجليل وجميع المسلمين بهذا الشهر الكريم‪ ،‬سائلين‬ ‫ال سبحانه أن يجعلنا من عتقاء شهر المغفرة والخيرات‪ ،‬كما ونسأل ال سبحانه‬ ‫وتعالى أن يبلغنا ليلة القدر وأن يمن علينا بأجرها‪،‬‬ ‫اللهم رب السماوات والرض شرفنا ببيعة خليفة المسلمين في الخلفة الراشدة الثانية‬

Dengan demikian awal Ramadhan al-Mubarak 1430 H jatuh pada hari Sabtu, 22 Agustus 2009. Demikian seperti diinformasikan oleh Kantore Media Hizbut Tahrir. Beberapa negeri seperti: Saudi Arabia, dan Kuwait, mengumumkan 1 Ramadhan 1430 H jatuh pada hari Sabtu, 22 Agustus 2009 karena tidak menemukan hilal.
