INFLUENCE OF EFFECT ON GOODS BLOOD DECLINE ON HYPERTENSION PATIENTS (Study at RT 05 Village of Pungg Sub Arut Utara Regency of Kotawaringin Barat Province of Central Kalimantan) ABSTRACT Hypertension as a disease that often arise in society, if not well controlled will cause damage to target organs especially on brain, heart, kidney, eyes and peripheral blood vessels. Making research aims to analyze the influence of starfruit juice to decrease blood pressure in people with hypertension. Research method using research enis one group pre test post tets desaign. The population in this study were 105 people. Sampling technique in use is slovin with the results of 51 respondents. The research instrument uses an observation sheet where in each research variable. The results of the research describes before the treatment of star fruit juice therapy most of the respondents had mild hypertension as much as 28 people (54.9%). And in the know after the treatment of star fruit juice therapy most of the respondents experienced high blood pressure is high as many as 26 people (51.0%). The results showed there was an influence of starfruit juice on blood pressure decrease with a significant level of P = 0.000. The conclusion of the study was that there was an effect of star fruit juice to the decrease of blood pressure in the patient. Keywords: Hypertension, Star fruit juice, Blood pressure
