ERECTION PROCEDURE FOR PELLETISING DISC ASSEMBLY DRIVE BASE FRAME ASSEMBLY Erect pivot bracket and adjusting bracket to the pillar foundation. Using pivot bracket pin, join drive base frame and pivot bracket. Lock the base frame with the adjusting bracket using bolts and nuts at an angle of 450. Check the positioning of O ring holder and outer ring on the stediment shaft, and correct it if required. Fix four numbers of 1/4" lubrication hoses to the bearing locking plate-I, in which three are for oil lubrication and one for air. The other side of hoses has to be connected to the gear case nipples later. PAN CENTER WITH RING GEAR AND BASE FRAME The pan center has to be connected with the ring gear using bolts and nuts. Maintain a uniform tightness of 700 Nm in all the bolts with the help of a torque wrench. Position the pan center along with ring gear to the top of stediment shaft and arrest it using locking plate and dummy plate. GEAR BOX AND SUB BASE FRAME TO DRIVE BASE FRAME Fix the sub base frame with the drive base frame. After shrink fitting the pinion and coupling to the output shaft and input shaft respectively of the triple reduction gear box along with the keys, the gear box can be mounted on to the sub base frame. Check for proper alignment of pinion and ring gear. It is to be noted that before shrink fitting pinion to the gear box shaft, the ring and 3mm gasket to be fitted to the gear box shaft for proper matching. PAN OUTER WITH PAN CENTER After fitting the sub base frame with the drive base frame, both the halves of pan outer can be fitted to the pan center. After proper alignment of pan outer and pan center, the same joints can be welded and bolted together. Check for outer alignment. After proper alignment, the hex steel can be laid to the inner side of pan outer and pan center. PLOW SUPPORT, SCRAPER SUPPORT AND CLAMP ASSEMBLY After welding big plow supports to the base frame, the small plow supports can be bolted to the big plow supports. Now, the scraper support can be welded to the small plow support. Fix four numbers of clamp assembly to the scraper support using bolts such that the smaller scraper is on the outermost side of pan outer. The other three are fixed in such a way that one is on the innermost side and other two are on the centre portion of the scraper support. Another plate of dimensions 16mm X 250 X 1650 has to be fixed on to the bottom plate of bigger scrapers. The ceramic liners can be fitted to this plate using emerald. The same has to be repeated for

smaller scraper also, where the extra plate size will be 16mm X 750 X 850. Set the height of the scrapers from the pan disc between 30-50 mm.

DRIVE MOTOR TO SUB BASE FRAME Shrink fit the mating half of the flexible coupling to the drive motor shaft along with the key. Fix the motor to the sub base frame and join the couplings with bolts after checking alignment for the same. DISCHARGE CHUTE The chute support has to be bolted to the drive base frame at an inclination of 45 0. Then, the two parts of discharge chute can be assembled to the disc assembly. Fix the polymer liners to the chute surface and lip liners to the outer periphery of the pan outer. OIL INDICATOR AND WATER SPRAY SYSTEM Fix two numbers of aluminum split spacer to the gear case for cooling arrangement. The oil indicator has to be fitted to the drive base frame and the water spray system to the disc assembly.
