The weather is usually sunny with no distinct seasons. Rain falls almost daily throughout the year, heavy showers that rarely last longer than an hour. However, most rainfall occurs during the northeast monsoon (November to January), occasionally featuring lengthy spells of continuous rain. Spectacular thunderstorms can occur throughout the year, normally in the afternoons.
The temperature averages around: 26°C (79°F) daytime, 24°C (76°F) at night in December and January. 31°C (89°F) daytime, 26°C (80°F) at night for the rest of the year.
Singapore can be visited at anytime of the year. The most comfortable months are between June and August. Another good idea is to coordinate your visit to coincide with the spectacular festivals and events of Singapore.
Shopping is second only to eating as a national pastime, which means that Singapore has an abundance of shopping malls, and low taxes and tariffs on imports coupled with huge volume mean that prices are usually very competitive. While you won't find any bazaars with dirt-cheap local handicrafts goods are generally of reasonably good quality and shopkeepers are generally quite honest due to strong consumer protection laws. Most stores are open 7 days a week from 10AM until 10PM. Mustafa in Little India is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Keep an eye out for the Great Singapore Sale, usually held in June-July, when shopping centers pull out all stops to attract punters. Many stores along the shopping belt of Orchard Road and Scotts Road now offer late night shopping on the last Friday of every month with over 250 retailers staying open till midnight.

Peranakan/Nonya cuisine The most identifiable cuisine in the region is Peranakan or Nonya cuisine, born from the mixed Malay and Chinese communities of what were once the British colonies of the Straits Settlements.
Kaya is a jam-like spread made from egg and coconut, an odd-sounding but tasty combination. Served on toast for breakfast, canonically accompanied by runny eggs and strong, sweet coffee (kopi). Exists in two distinctive styles; the greenish Nonya version, colored with pandan leaf, and the brownish Hainanese version.
Popiah or spring rolls come fresh or fried. They consist of boiled turnips, fried tofu, fried shallots and garlic, chopped omelette, chopped stir fried long beans and (optional) chilli sauce, wrapped in a thin rice skin covering and eaten like a fajita.
Thailand has so much to capture your imagination! The chaotic but fascinating capital of Bangkok comes alive with activity almost every minute of the day. In fact, here you might actually want to lose your way intentionally to discover the hidden treasures of the city that you might otherwise miss. And then, there's always a taxi you can find to take you back to your hotel. In Thailand, you'll find it all - fabulous architecture, beautiful beaches and hidden islands, inexpensive shopping, delicious cuisine, exotic culture and ruins of ancient kingdoms.

Thailand is largely tropical, so it's hot and humid all year around with temperatures in the 28-35°C range, a degree of relief provided only in the mountains in the far north of Thailand. •Cool: From November to the end of February, it doesn't rain much and temperatures are at their lowest, where as temperatures can fall as low as 5°C. This is the most popular time to visit and, especially around Christmas and New Year's, finding flights and accommodation can be expensive and difficult. •Hot: From March to June, Thailand swelters in temperatures as high as 40°C. Pleasant enough when sitting on the beach with a drink in hand, but not the best time of year to go temple-tramping in Bangkok. •Rainy: From July to October, although it only really gets underway in September, tropical monsoons hit most of the country. This doesn't mean it rains non-stop, but when it does it pours and flooding is not uncommon
The best time to visit most of Thailand is between November and February, primarily because it rains the least and is not too hot during these months. This period is also Thailand’s main season for both national and regional festivals. Thailand, on the other hand, are best avoided from March to May, when temperatures may climb over 40°C during the day and aren’t much lower at night. Because temperatures are more even year-round in the south (because it’s closer to the equator), the beaches and islands of southern Thailand are a good choice for respite when the rest of Thailand is miserably hot.
•Thailand is a shopper's paradise and many visitors to Bangkok in particular end up spending much of their time in the countless markets and malls. Particularly good buys are clothing, both cheap locally produced street wear and fancy Thai silk, and all sorts of handicrafts. Electronics and computer gear are also widely available, but prices are slightly higher than in Singapore, Hong Kong and Kuala Lumpur. •A Thai speciality are the night markets found in almost every town, the largest and best-known of which are in Bangkok and the Night Bazaar in Chiang Mai. Here a variety of vendors from designers to handicraft sellers have stalls selling goods which cannot normally be found in malls and day markets. Most night markets also have large open air food courts attached. •You can also find marvelously tacky modern clothing accessories. Witness pink sandals with clear plastic platform heels filled with fake flowers. Night markets along the main roads and Bangkok's Mahboonkrong (MBK) Mall, near the Siam skytrain stop, are particularly good sources. Not to be left out is what is often touted as the world's biggest weekend bazaar - The Chatuchak Weekend Market or known to locals simply as "JJ" Market. Chatuchak sells a myriad of products ranging from clothes to antiques, covers over 35
Rice Khao tom - is a salty and watery rice porridge served with condiments, quite popular at breakfast.
Noodles Ba mee moo daeng is egg noodles with slices of Chinese-style barbecued pork.
Soups & Curries Tom kha kai is the Thai version of chicken soup in a rich galangal-flavored coconut stock, with mushrooms and not a few chillies.

Climate summarizes the average, range and variability of weather elements, e.g. rain, wind, temperature, fog, thunder, and sunshine, observed over many years at a location or across an area. In order to understand the climate better, the Bureau collects a wide range of data from the atmosphere, oceans and land surface.
The northern states are best visited during the winters, from July to September while the summer months are ideal for visiting the southern states. On the whole, September and October are the best, when it is neither too hot nor too cold.
NEW SOUTH WALES - Sydney rock oysters, Hunter Valley wines, Balmain Bugs, Illabo milk-fed lamb
VICTORIA - Gippsland beef, Meredith lamb, Malle squab, cornfed chicken
SOUTH AUSTRALIA - Barossa Valley wine (e.g. Penfolds), Coffin Bay scallops, olive oil, tuna, cultivated native food
TASMANIA - Salmon, trout, cheeses, oysters, raspberries, King Island cream
QUEENSLAND - Bowen mangoes, papaya, succulent reef fish, mudcrabs, Moreton Bay Bugs (a shellfish, not insects!)
NORTHERN TERRITORY - Barramundi fish, Mangrove Jack (fish), crocodile, buffalo
New Zealand comes with a reputation as a unique land packed with magnificent, raw scenery: craggy coastlines, sweeping beaches, primeval forests, snowcapped glacier-fed lakes, and unparalleled wildlife, all beneath a brilliant blue sky. Even Kiwis – named after the endearing, if decidedly odd, flightless bird that has become the national emblem – are filled with astonishment at the stupendous vistas and variety of what they call "Godzone" (God's own country).

New Zealand has a temperate climate in the south island and sub-tropical climate in the North Island and the nature of the terrain, the prevailing winds and the length of the country lead to sharp regional contrasts. Maximum daytime temperatures sometimes exceed 30°C and only fall below 0°C only in the elevated inland regions. Generally speaking, rainfall and humidity is higher in the west than the east of the country due to the north-south orientation of the mountain ranges and the prevailing westerly/north westerly winds.

The best time to visit Malaysia is to avoid the two peak tourist seasons. The first peak tourist season falls roughly from the beginning of December to the end of January, covering the major public holidays — Christmas, New Year’s Day, Chinese New Year. Hari Raya Puasa, celebrating the end of Ramadan, shifts dates from year to year. During this season, Asian travel routes are booked solid and hotels are maxed out. Favorable deals are rare, because most of Asia takes annual leave at this time. Try to avoid east coast destinations and Island Malaysia between November and January. Otherwise, Malaysia can be enjoyed at any time of year as the weather is generally hot, sunny and fairly uniform; it’s rare to have a day without showers and unusual to have a day without sunshine. Take light summer clothes, carry an umbrella and an extra warm sweater if visiting the hill stations.
The travel between Singapore & Malaysia will be by Star cruise.

Hong Kong is an all-year-round destination. The most popular time to visit is from the middle of September to the end of February, when the weather is cooler. At its coolest (midDecember to February), the temperature may fall to 10oC (50oF); at its warmest (late May to mid-September), it averages 28oC (82oF) but may reach 33oC (91oF). Spring (March to mid-May) Temperatures and humidity rise gradually in spring. Evenings can be cool but lightweight jackets should suffice. The average temperature ranges from 18oC-27oC (64oF-80oF), humidity about 82 per cent.
Summer (late May to mid-September) Hot and humid with temperatures ranging from 26oC-33oC (78oF-91oF) and humidity near 86 per cent. Short sleeves and cotton clothes should be worn with a lightweight sweater for indoors as restaurants tend to set airconditioning on high. An umbrella or hat is useful to ward off the sun. Autumn (late September to early December) Clear and sunny days are the norm in autumn. Short sleeves and light jackets are most suitable at this time of year. The average temperature ranges from 18oC-28oC (64oF-82oF), humidity about 72 per cent. Winter (mid-December to February) Winters are mild with low humidity at 72 per cent. Though the temperature ranging from 14oC-20oC (57oF-68oF), the mercury can drop to 10oC (50oF). Occasional chills make woolens and overcoats necessary.
