The Bad and the Good of Life In ​Looking for Alaska ​a young adult fiction book written by John Green. One of the main characters called Miles an introvert with some extrovert qualities has to move schools.In his old school he has no friends and when he moves to Culver Creek boarding school in Alabama he finds himself new friends and maybe a love interest. Alaska Young another main character who is a female is an extreme extrovert (wiki.fandom). When Miles gets to Culver Creek he is intrigued by the beauty that was held inside Alaska. He then notices that even though moving away from home might of been negative moving to Culver Creek and making new friends might lead to a positive outcome. Miles moves from Florida where he had only one acquaintance to Alabama where he became an extrovert. As he becomes well accustomed to his new life in Culver Creek he begins making new friends such as Chip “General” Martin who was also happens to be his roommate with extrovert qualities (Green). One day when Miles was walking into a room he saw Alaska standing there he was so mesmerized by her beauty that he wanted to know more about her. Luckily Chip and Alaska were friends so when he began to hang out with Chip he began seeing Alaska more and more. As the story goes along you can see how the characters develop and how

they learn to solve conflicts. Miles begins to grow as a person and opens up to a whole new world. He shows more of his extrovert qualities. Even though moving away from your home can be difficult he begins seeing the light in the darkness. He saw that there was more to life than being an introvert. Therefore when he moves to his new school he is meet with so many other extrovert friends. As his move was maybe seen as a bad thing it would lead to a amazing thing that made him be a little more open. He begins to hang out and have more fun than he had ever had. He begins to take in new qualities and opportunities that life gives him. However he seems happier moving away he meets a girl named Lara Buterskaya (Green). She was an exchange student from Romania. She has a crush on Miles even though Miles wasn’t that interested in her he gives her a chance. They quickly become more than friends. There relationship grows and happens to be one of the things that makes Miles stay at Culver Creek just a bit more happier since he moved. Therefore when he moved he had his eyes widened to everything around him. When he got to meet the others his outlook on life changed and then he began to be more of an extrovert in some sort of ways. He got the benefit of the doubt when he moved to a new place that make him become more open. So even if moving was as gloomy as a rainy day the result was as bright as the sun. He learns how to be happier therefore he makes good thing out of his life even if there were certain negatives he can turn them into positives.
