OUR ENVIRONMENT 

Our Environment refers to the surroundings of living and non living beings. The environment affects on all the beings present on the earth

DEPENDENCE OF MAN ON ENVIRONMENT 

Man no considered the most intelligent creature of nature. Fast exploitation disturbs the balance of environment.

DEPENDENCE OF PLANTS ON ENVIRONMENT 

All plants depend upon environment for their survived the plants make their own food.



Disasters are the accidental events that cause deaths and injuries to a number of people.

Drought

Cyclone Floods



It refers to the ejection of molten material called lava from beneath the surface of the earth. It has on opening called vent and the mouth from which lave comes out is called crater.



Earthquake shakes the earth. IT is caused by the rapid movement in the rocks of outer layer of earth



Tsunami is a japanese word meaning ‘harbour wave’. These wave originate at the sea floor because of various reasons like earthquake volcanic eruption or under sea landside.



Drought is condition of abnormally dry weather in some area.It may not be confused where climate remains dry far most part of the year.



When excess water reaches the surface of earth in the form of rain or snow, the whole amount of water is not absorbed by the soil or vegetation.

Cyclone is a violent storm that originates in the tropical seas. They are also called typhoons hurricanes and willies –willies. .
